Shalini Rao is a photographer who simply loves colors (even black and white are colors) and anything that evokes an emotion in her; be it a thought, a question or even an instant disapproval is art; something that basically has a pulsating life of its own and is not just a tricked, mechanical, manipulated piece of an acrobatic maneuver created with various softwares that are available in the market. She calls it the art that talks to one.

She feels real & scarred is beautiful because that's YOU. The wrinkles say that you've lived a fuller life, the stretch marks are proud reminders of your motherhood. Fake but pretty isn't one bit appealing because that isn?t YOU. It?s just a constant reminder of what you aren't or how you'd rather have the world to see you, a perpetual quest of an oasis that never existed. Have the courage to be true to your skin, your age and your soul. Now that?s what she believes is truly kick-ass !!

The only reason she clicks, is because once she?s gone, she'd love to have people look at the world through her eyes, soak her perception of what her lens saw.
