Marriages are made in heaven, but finding a soul mate with the right height, age, education, looks, profession and family background can be quite a task! In this situation, getting help from an experienced matchmaker can make all the difference. Thus, with an intention to support parents looking out for a match for their sons and daughters, in 1999 Mrs. Saurabhi Tambe, a homemaker and mother of two, started a marriage bureau at her home in Shreenagar, Thane. Then in 2001, after working alone for two years, she joined forces with a friend, and helped in establishing a new marriage bureau, exclusively for Maharashtrian Buddhists as well as NRI Buddhists. Calling it Samyak Vivah Suchak Kendra. Mrs.Tambe was with Samyak till 2005, when a sudden unfortunate event in the family, led her to quit and stay at home for many months. But owing to a very good repute as a matchmaker for marathi Buddhists, people kept calling her requesting to suggest a suitable match. Eventually, in response to this need within our community, and also due to her own fondness for matchmaking, Mrs. Tambe established Sabamangal marriage bureau, in 2006 on the auspicious occasion of Dhammachakra Parivartan Din.

At Sabamangal, Tambe Madam (as most people call her), not only helps you in short listing suitable profiles, but also approaches members on your behalf.
