Amrita Joshi

Choreographer & Actor was born in Indore, city of Holkars situated in the Central India. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Dhar M.P. She is associated with art of dancing since she was 5 years old. She did her first school performance at age of 5. After that she never looked back and started participating in dance competitions in and out of the school. At the age of six she decided to take her passion to next level. She started learning kathak under the guidance of Mr. Malviya which turned out to be her first guru. Under his guidance, soon she started performing in many renowned cultural events.
Apart from establishing a niche in the soloist, she has received critical acclaim for her choreographic works and the Dance work shop she conducts.
Her extensive training under renowned kathakgurus like Uma dongra , Puru dhadhi chi, Manisha sathe , provided her with a rare insight into the art of Dance and choreography. ... ...Less
