    1tablespoon was founded in Mumbai by Chef Varun Sheth in 2010. Varun was trained at the prestigious Natural Gourmet School in New York City, and further honed his skills while learning all about the finer nuances of running an upscale kitchen at the acclaimed New York City restaurant Lupa, which is owned and run by the world renowned Chef Mario Batali. After his experience at Lupa, Varun yearned to bring home the quality of cuisine from New York City one of the worlds culinary hotspots and thus was born 1tablespoon.
