The launch of Ravissant was the realization of a novel dream that the husband and wife team of Ravi and Mina Chawla had. Although set up as a paean to haute couture the founders were certain that they would go beyond merely showcasing fashionable clothes. It would become a private world where rare beauty could make a sober but telling statement, where the truly discerning could come to look, to admire and to buy.
