Our passion and driving force emanates from our promoter – designer Ms. Kanika Jain Singh who holds a degree in Fashion Design from India’s premier institute - Pearl Academy of Fashion and has extensive industry experience. Her tryst with apparel production started at a young age where she learned hands-on skills at her family’s production house. Interning at an Export House as a student was only the beginning for Kanika who later went on to work as the fashion co-ordinator and pattern maker for some of India’s finest Fashion Labels that include Couture House - Lecoanet Hemant and one of India’s first fashion conglomerates Genesis Colors (backed by Sequoia Capital), just before founding Kalico Skills in 2010.
Kanika, along with her expert technical team, comprehensively manages all the processes right from sampling, production till the final finishing of the products. She shares a very warm and healthy relationship with her craftsmen and other staff, training and encouraging them to strive for excellence in quality at all times.
