Shalini is a professional make-up artist. Since 2001 she has worked with leading make-up artists across India.

She has styled the look and designed the make-up for theatre productions, including Seven Steps Around the Fire by Mahesh Dattani, Art, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Nutcracker all by Scene Stealers

Her forte is make-up for Bridals, Portfolio, Fashion & Ramp shows. She has worked with many of India’s leading fashion designers including Kavita Bhartia, Narendra Sen, Manoviraj Khosla, Anjali & Arjun Kapoor for their shows.

Her makeovers and demonstrations have been extensively covered by television channels. She was associated with the Grazia Ford Supermodel Hunt 2009, televised on Zoom. She featured as an expert on I’m too Sexy for my Shoes on NDTV Good Times.

She has conducted extensive workshops on Good Looks at the Good Housekeeping Show 2009, which received wide coverage on television networks.

Shalini is also a Communication and Grooming expert. She has been associated with a leading colour cosmetics brand as a Makeup Expert and Consultant from 2007-2009. During her tenure with the brand she designed grooming standards, conducted transformation trainings and handled colour and style advisory.
