Fascinated by the old world charm, Ridhi has created her label bringing alive a great mix of Europen influences with tradtional Indian esthetics. The looks narrate an aura of divine poetry, meticulously handcrafted with intricate detailing laying great emphasis on fine tailoring and sauve cuts. The collection incorporates traditional Indian embroidery embelishments mixed in a refined modern approach.
Her signature draped dupattas and shoulder and waistpatches are distinctive details that are indicative to her and have recently taken to the likes of Bollywood personalities like Sonam Kapoor and Huma Qureshi.
The collection is currently being retailed through Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop and numerous multi – brand stores such as Ogaan and Aza.
At 23 Ridhi Mehra is a young budding designer with a vision to carve a niche for herself in the Indian fashion industry. A NIFT alumni, Ridhi holds the vision and the essence of a designer. Her new collection is a perfectly curated collection of pieces in dark romantic colors with flowy silhouettes, with a burst of clear love for vintage.
Born and brought up in New – Delhi, Ridhi understands the need of the hour of flamboyant Delhi customers demanding new and different cuts and designs. Taking inspiration from her mother and aunt who have been designing and retailing garments from very early days, Ridhi Mehra has designing imbibed in her. A management graduate from University of Nottingham and a NIFT alumni after, Ridhi started designing in 2011.
