Representing Indian ethnicity at some of the most distinguished Bridal and Resort runway shows abroad and in her own land; Jaya Misra’s collections have been showcased in Australia; Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia in the United States, at the Vancouver Fashion Week in Canada and at the Belgrade Fashion Week along with runway shows in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. In India, Jaya has created exclusive runway lines for the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week, the AUDI Group show, Surya Gold and Swarovski Show and the India Resort Fashion Week.
Felicitated as the ‘Best upcoming Designer’ at the 17th Lions Gold Awards & ‘Best National Designer’ at 18th Lions Gold Awards and at the Women of the World Award; Jaya Misra has also been honored by the ‘L.N. Mittal Award for Women Empowerment’ in the year 2012 and has been the Official Designer for Femina Miss India pageant in 2013. This year, Jaya’s eclectic designs will be in full glory in the Fashion Film “India Says” which has been picked up as the Official Selection for screening at the Miami Fashion Film Festival 2014.
