Since his early school days at Modern School, Barakhanba Road, he was being groomed to follow his father’s footsteps and began preparing for a career in Chartered Accountancy.     Kunal.S was born on August 27, 1978 in New Delhi. However, in 1997 he chose to give it all up for more creative pursuits. He discovered his interest in fashion the same year and enrolled at the prestigious Pearl Academy of Fashion.

    Upon graduation from Pearl Academy of Fashion, he was presented with an opportunity to work with pioneer of Indian Haute Couture, J.J.Valaya. In his early years, Kunal S. learned the ropes of this creative industries under the wings of JJ Valaya. There could not have been a better possible breeding ground for developing artistic hones and understanding the business of fashion.

    In the year 2007, he chose to launch his own label – Dieu & Or. Kunal’s esteemed client list includes, Late. Jagjit Singh, Jackie Shroff, Aakash Chopra, Bhagnani family, Maheep Singh, Dr. V. K. Gupta, & many more.
