BreadTalk entered India in 2005 as a trend setting life style bakery. The master franchise is held by "Crustum Products Private Limited" which is wholly owned subsidiary of Viceroy Hotels Limited, a hospitality major in Hyderabad. In India, BreadTalk is retailing large range of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
