    Kanika’s first experience with fashion started with styling weddings for her Indian friends and she later progressed to styling photo-shoots for photographers. Her first official break in fashion came with conceptualizing and directing a photo-shoot for a media house back in 2011. Realising how much she enjoyed the work and the satisfaction of contributing towards creating something beautiful, she decided to quit her corporate consulting job to get into art direction and styling full time.

    Kanika’s first experience with fashion started with styling weddings for her Indian friends and she later progressed to styling photo-shoots for photographers. Her first official break in fashion came with conceptualizing and directing a photo-shoot for a media house back in 2011. Realising how much she enjoyed the work and the satisfaction of contributing towards creating something beautiful, she decided to quit her corporate consulting job to get into art direction and styling full time.

    Over the past four years, Kanika has worked with noted designers and photographers on both conceptual and commercial shoots. She has also had her work featured on the Vogue Italy portal. This website was designed by Kanika herself to host her art direction portfolio and her popular fashion and lifestyle blog.

    Having graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Kanika worked as a software developer with an American multinational. Post her MBA from one of the top business schools in India, she developed her corporate career working with multinational organizations both in India and the United States.

My engineering and MBA degrees have given me invaluable skills that I am consistently using at every step. I used my software skills to develop this very website and my management expertise constantly comes handy when working on corporate and commercial projects.”

    I can single handedly coordinate, direct, and style studio as well as location shoots. I am extremely adept at on-set fashion styling and direction, management of fashion products, fashion style-outs; product assignment and logistics; room set styling and wardrobe coordination for both editorial and commercial shoots.
