Oliva Skin and Hair Clinic

Worst clinic ever.I visited Secunderabad clinic and can say that its a very pathetic situation. People at the clinic does not say the same things after paying money that they said before paying. What they only need is the money from people and then their work is done. As suggested by the doctor,I paid for Laser Toning for face and got my face spoiled. I literally suggest you do not ever believe the rosy words that doctors tell.You will literally fall prey for them as we already are.

I visited oliva in august 2016(Jayanagar branch, Bengaluru) regarding pigmentation issue. The doctor suggested me to go for a pack consisting of 4 NMF peels, 4 laser toning and 2 ACP. I was told that if required they would add some more sessions and I agreed. The ACP is done for acne and I had very mild acne on my forehead. 15days later the first chemical peel was done. My face turned dark within few hours and I thought it would heal after my skin peeled off but I didn’t see any peeling. I panicked and visited the doctor the very next day and she assured me that it would peel eventually. It peeled alright but my darkened skin remained. I shared my concern with the doctor and she brushed it off as due to inadequate use of sunscreen lotion. I don’t understand how the sunscreen could do anything to my skin when it was immediately darkened by the session. I was using a lot of sunscreen and stayed away from sun, heat and was even taking cold showers to avoid any steam. But I didn’t want to argue since it was my first peel and dropped it.

The next session was a laser toning.They start with low energy and increase the energy every session or two. The first went amazing. All that darkness caused by the peel was undone in this session and result was immediate. Laser toning seemed promising. I insisted on the second laser toning instead of peel and that went well too. By this time I had decided not to continue with NMF I.e., the chemical peels and to instead go with the laser toning. My third session of laser toning was a disaster. It all went south. I pointed out that my skin had darkened immediately from the session and this time a lot of unevenness too. But the doctor would just not agree. I consulted two other doctors at different clinics using the same q switched nd yag laser and they both told me that there are all possibilities of it happening. I again spoke to the doctor at oliva and she wanted to stick to her theory knowledge. She just didn’t want to accept that this had happened. I thought of giving another try and went through with my fourth session of laser toning. Just before she could start I again mentioned how the previous session didn’t go well because of the increased energy and asked her to go with low energy but she told me that it wouldn’t darken and that she HAD TO INCREASE the energy with every session. For a second I trusted her and now my skin is darker and more uneven than when I first started here.

My experience has been terrible and from what I gather, the doctors at oliva are made to follow a set of protocols and ignore clients concern and conduct sessions as per the protocols and not as per the reaction of the client’s skin. And this branch has the most annoying manager, if that is what her role is. She keeps pushing people to signup for services and buy products. People with a small budget and/or limited time frame, this is not the place. I have lot of events lined up starting with my own engagement party and I’m someone who prefers less to no makeup. I really am stressed about how to cover this mess. I wouldn’t recommended this clinic to anyone.
