N Sanjiva Shet Jewellers

Born in 1920, N Sanjiva Shet was a visionary, businessman and a philanthropist. In 1935, at a tender age of 15 he established N Sanjiva Shet Jewellers in Mangalore. Through hard work and dedication made it one of most trusted names in the jewellery business. At the time when gold manufacturing & retail were all about trust, he instilled in his employees the need to strive, sustain and use only high quality gold & silver metals in the ornaments. We are proud of the fact that even today all the ornaments ever sold in the past 78 years can easily pass the modern day purity check tests. Apart from jewellery trade he also believed in social work and gave a lot back to the local society. He believed business was not only about wealth creation but a social enterprise. He sponsored various social initiatives, be it charity, donation, food distribution schemes and interest free loans to people from lower income group who were unable to afford gold for marriage of their sons/daughters. As a businessman he believed good administration and focus were the keys to success. An early riser, punctual, strict disciplinary, attention to detail were at his core.
