Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty dating famous cricketer KL Rahul for the past few years. Although the relationship was never officially confirmed, these two lovelies were often caught together however never chasing the limelight. Finally putting an end to the bubbles, the couple has finally united forever in vows of marriage and we can’t stop admiring the simplicity of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both the people Athiya and Rahul are rumored to be met via mutual friends. Assuming the year 2019 to be their beginning both of them were often seen together, which gave a mushy vibe hence the rumors caught fire yet they didn’t open up about their relationship very openly.\u00a0 <\/span>About 3 months ago we came across an Instagram story of the actress dedicated to her love that sparked their dreamy love even more!<\/span><\/p>\n

We also saw the cricketer embracing his darling with love and blessings often on his feed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got married on the 23rd of January at 4:00 pm in Khandala Mumbai at the farmhouse of Sunil Shetty. In the world of trending destination weddings, we can’t miss this little detail of how the couple wanted to embrace their home in their important ceremony. The pristine pastel-shade wedding mandap was set up for the vows that complimented their subtle and classy love story.<\/span><\/p>\n

We couldn’t get a shot at their mandap due to the strict privacy, however thanks to the paparazzi team, they got us some sneaking yet pretty pictures of the venue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wardrobe for the Wedding<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Athiya Shetty wore a beautiful old rose and pastel pink lehenga at her wedding designed by Anamika Khanna. The lehenga was completely handmade which took around 10000 hours or 416 days. This handwoven silk chikankari lehenga was subtle, defying the traditional style of red which was worked intricately with zardozi and jali work. The designer mentions that Athiya likes to wear comfortable clothes hence there’s no cancan in her lehenga.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anamika Khanna has designed lehengas for celebrities before too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athiya alongside wore heels from Fi<\/a><\/span>zzy Goblet<\/span> , polki necklace, matching earrings, and a classic maang tikka with matching kleros that represented her strong yet subtle personality. The make-up and hairstyle were handled beautifully by <\/span>Namrata Soni<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Ami Patel<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

The wedding ceremony of Athiya and KL Rahul was kept private. Only around 100 guests were invited to the ceremony which constituted the pair’s close friends and family like Aditya Seal, Anushka Ranjan, Krishna Shroff, Diana Penty, and more. We also witnessed the handsome father-in-law Sunil Shetty along with the bride’s brother Ahan Shetty that was like the cherry on top. Post the ceremony we witnessed the newlywed couple with warmth, and we couldn’t take our eyes off the bride’s stunning diamond ring and mangalsutra.<\/span><\/p>\n

The private wedding’s Servings were quite unique and are believed to be a proper South Indian cuisine served traditionally on banana leaves. One big gesture we witnessed at the wedding was the distribution of sweets to the media outside the venue by father Sunil Shetty and Ahan Shetty from <\/span>Tewaris<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We all are going Gaga over the wedding of this ideal match and a sweet classic wedding. A lot of celebrities wished the beautiful couple a happy married life and we lined up for the same and hope to see them together forever. The reception ceremony is to be held after IPL according to the news due to the hectic schedule with more guests including high-profile political figures and other celebrities.
