The process of finding an outfit that looks stunning and suits is already a task on top of which if she is the plus size it takes extra effort as if it were a crime to be curvy. Apart from this hard work, it is mentally taxing for any person to feel helpless and underconfident about themselves simply because of the standards set by society of what is pretty supposed to look like. The wedding day and process should be fun-filled and exciting and it shouldn’t give a feeling of despair and anxiety.<\/p>\n

The plus-size market in India is estimated to be approximately 12% of the overall fashion segment but the wedding industry, having a worth of around $50 billion, is not able to keep up with the basic needs of a person. It is very important for designers and social media platforms to promote dresses for every size and spread awareness that there is nothing wrong with being chubby. There is a need for an adequate amount of representation of plus-size models as well.<\/p>\n

Self-love is crucial and it\u2019s time to break the stereotypes and normalise having curves. Curvy women have feelings too! Size should never come in the way of someone’s happiness. All brides should be able to look and feel beautiful not only from the inside but also from the outside.<\/p>\n
