When faith decides to unite two people, there is nothing that can stop them from coming together. Something similar was planned for Saachi and Sumil as family members played cupid to complete their love story. Introduced at a wedding event, these lovebirds went on to speak for hours, skipping the event altogether and that was when they knew this new friendship was something they could take forward.<\/p>\n

“It\u00a0was actually a very funny story, my aunt found Sumil outside a restroom in Rayong at a mutual friend’s wedding. She interrogated him as all aunties do, and eventually made him meet my mother at 3 am at the event where she scoured through her Facebook and showed him 100 pictures of me. A month later, fate and the excitement of my mother brought us together at a mutual friend’s wedding, where we skipped the entire thing and just ended up spending time together. We\u2019ve been inseparable since, as you can see he put a ring on it!” says Saachi, the bride.\u00a0Time has only proved them right, as they are headed to celebrate this new chapter in a grand and traditional manner with all family and friends joining them on their special days.<\/p>\n

The entire wedding event was planned to keep in mind both Saachi and Sumil’s family traditions and reflect them into the wedding decor and photography. Saachi wanted to bring elements from her hometown into the wedding decor which inspired the quirky yet relaxed and minimal scheme. From the cocktail being inspired by Japanese culture to a tropical Sangeet and a traditional Indian wedding, every event had a unique blend for each of their family cultures and that\u2019s what reflects the love and bonding between this young couple.<\/p>\n

About The Wedding<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharing about the day she has always been excited about, Saachi shares, \u201cFor both Sumil and me, our family traditions hold a great value. We wanted to reflect our background and culture into our wedding while also living out our fantasies. Our first cocktail was inspired by Japanese culture. Right from the drinks to the decor, the entire vibe was to bring my hometown to Bombay while our Sangeet was more about a tropical wonderland filled with greenery, florals and lots of different personalized moments for our guests to remember. I always imagined myself having an outdoor wedding, something about open-air just makes me feel calm and relaxed. Gallops, at the racecourse, was the perfect space to host our classical and traditional wedding day. The beautiful lights and charming space overall lent itself to be a magical vibe for us!\u201d<\/p>\n
