As a child, Abhinav was always fascinated with the minute details of a wedding, especially the demure bride; the glimmer in her eyes, the clinking bangles, hands fragrant and decorated with Mehendi.\u00a0\u00a0An Untold Story was inspired by these memories as well as figments of his imagination, a reminiscent sequence of the myriad occasion that encompass a classic Indian wedding. The collection is a perfect amalgamation of a dream world and nostalgic memories, coming together to create something exquisite.\u00a0\u00a0It is a story he\u2019s never told and a tapestry that showcases lifelong dreams.<\/p>\n

The Bridal 2018 collection unfold in four layers, a dreamy collection that blends together four themes –\u00a0\u00a0the festive Mehendi,\u00a0the romantic Cocktail, the spectacular wedding and the glorious Reception. The couturier\u2019s vision of an ideal wedding redefines all the rules, Memoir is the collective charm of all the wedding glamour encompassed into one definitive collection.<\/p>\n

Abhinav Mishra’s mission is to create clothes for young globally inclined Indian women, women who are in tune with the international sensibilities of fashion and style while being honest to their own ethnic aesthetic. Speaking about his new collection Abhinav said,\u00a0\u201cAn Untold Story – is the coming together of my vision to modernize Indian craftsmanship fused with my imagination and my childhood memories, stories I\u2019ve never told. The collection is a re-imagination of an ideal wedding and reflects the dynamic and evolved sensibilities of the strong independent woman of today. The collection infuses a fresher more upbeat aesthetic into traditional artisanal methods of creating clothes. Designing for the young Indian woman who is a unique amalgamation of the dynamic contemporary world and her Indian heritage. It is with my memories that I approached that this collection, I remembered details like clinking glass bangles, giggling girlfriends teasing the bride, the soft, happy tears of a mother that she gently wiped off on a glittering, goldwork pallu.
