Preparation and planning for a weddings starts the moment we decide our wedding partner. There are several important decisions that need to be taken like buying jewellery, bridal and groom’s attire, caterers, and the most important being choosing a wedding banquet for the special day.
Everyone has their dreams and aspirations as to where the “big day” will be celebrated. It should be affordable yet beautiful.
Here are the 5 key things to remember when choosing banquets in Delhi or outside, for your wedding occasion:
1. Theme and Style of Your Wedding
Do you want a typical traditional wedding, king-size wedding, color theme or any other theme based wedding? This decision will lead you choose a venue that fits into your criteria.
2. Venue Size
The size of the Wedding Hall is one of the prime factors in finalising the venue and depends largely upon your guest list. A large wedding hall will well accommodate the guests especially if there are children along with the guests. Besides banquet halls and ballrooms, country clubs, resorts, farms, mansions etc can also be chosen.
3. Location
Where is your wedding, your hometown or at your fiancé’s? It can be beach side wedding, traditional style, royal style. The location is the prime factor, as it is decisive of whether or not your guests would find it. If it’s a destination wedding, you must make sure that a proper transportation is provided to the guests to reach to the venue. I always hate when I go to events and it’s difficult to find a parking space. That’s why when I get married, one of the things I’m looking for in a reception hall is a decent amount of parking so that no one has to walk to get to our reception.
